The Ultimate Thanksgiving Leftovers Biscuit Sandwich

As much as we love Thanksgiving dinner, we may love the leftovers even more. Without the eyes of fellow diners judging your plate, you’re finally free to play with your food and create the ultimate Thanksgiving Leftovers Biscuit Sandwich. It’s also a great option if you’re really sick of doing dishes – one plate, a knife and maybe a fork or spoon. If you want to enjoy it bachelor(ette) style, you can skip the plate and eat directly over the sink.

Start with the Robinhood Meetinghouse biscuit of your choice. We chose Sweet Potato. Pick the spreads and fillings that suit your tastes, but remember that you have to be able to fit the sandwich in your mouth so don’t pile the fixings too high!

Spreads

  • Gravy mayo (or straight up gravy) spread on top and/or bottom half of biscuit
  • Cranberry chutney

Fillings

  • Sliced or shredded Thanksgiving turkey
  • 1 slice/scoop of cranberry sauce
  • Slice/scoop of stuffing (if it's a slice, try toasting it for extra texture)
  • Scoop of mashed potatoes
  • Scoop of sweet potatoes
  • Scoop of squash

For a little slice of crispy heaven, we added a piece of the turkey skin.

If you’re looking for a sweet finish to your meal but don’t want a heavy piece of pie, try a Robinhood Meetinghouse Pumpkin Cinnamon roll. Mmmmm!

Bask in the post-Thanksgiving glow and enjoy!
