Whether you like to swirl, sprinkle, spread, or shower – a cinnamon roll isn’t complete without the glaze. Robinhood Meetinghouse Cinnamon Rolls and Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls come with enough Vanilla Glaze to glaze 6 rolls. But sometimes there are extenuating circumstances. When it’s not quite enough, when someone swipes the packet from the counter while the rolls are in the oven, or when you just want some extra, we have a quick and easy recipe to make sure you get the roll-to-glaze ratio just the way you want it.
- ½ cup confectioners’ sugar
- ¾ teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons tablespoons milk (not skim!)
Sift confectioners’ sugar, add vanilla and then start to add milk until glaze reaches your desired consistency and there are no lumps. Remember that when the glaze makes contact with rolls warm from the oven, it will melt a bit. To make sure it doesn’t get too runny, you can chill the glaze in advance or use a little bit less milk.
